Didn't even feel like...

Had a nice rest last night as I was tired.

Woke up refreshed and ready to dominate the day. Went to a pancake house for breakfast and had a nice veggie omelet with some pancakes. It was delicious!

Then, about 2:00, I went for the run. It didn't even feel like 10! It's awesome! I'm at that point in training where some of the runs actually feel "easy" and time goes by so fast, I'm done before I know it. I wasn't even running very fast, it was just...nice.

Good weather, hydrated all day, didn't get dehydrated, wasn't really thirsty, but drank anyway just before mile 3, right after mile 5, right after mile 8, and at the end. Soaked in the tub with some cold water. Felt nice. Didn't have ice. Bob Marley had lice. I want some rice. Wanna play dice?

Anyway, time: 1:23:31
Laps: 8:28, 8:22, 8:16, 8:27, 8:23, 8:28, 8:22, 8:16, 8:27, 7:59
This is crazy...look at the splits. Exactly the same pattern for the two 5 mile halves, except the 5th and 10th mile. Weird. Some good pacing, or crop circles afoot.

Burned 1198 calories. Nifty watch.

Those are some crazy splits! HA!

Those are the best kind of runs!
When you can just forget about running and enjoy what's around you, those are the best!

Excellent work.

Progress baby. Progress.

Nice on the 10...yes, that's how running should feel: effortless. I like having splits like that too...it makes you feel like something awesome has happened. Yes, indeed. Yes. Indeed.

Get excited, because from now on, the runs will only get longer...whooo!
